It’s been a few weeks since out last blog update, there has been a lot happening. From paying a visit to the Cadet VR lab at Deakin University to adding two new members to the Info Pixel Team.
A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to tour the Cadet VR Lab at Deakin University. This was quite an experience. The team was able to play around with a range of different VR platforms that the Lab had available, we’re really pumped for our own VR game development.
We also got to experiment with the Leap Motion and the new Oculus touch, both of which we are thinking of integrating into Galactic Combat: Wingman at a later date.
In other news, we now have two full-time programmers at Info Pixel! This is great news for our little team, the addition of programmers will allow us to use Unreal to its full potential and bring Galactic Combat: Wingman to life. We are looking forward to working with them, and you should expect to see a lot more gameplay in the near future.
In the next few weeks, we are planning to have our first level assets set up, and our multiplayer integrated. There is a lot of work to be done, and we are looking forward to keeping you updated on the progress.
